Batch is a very easy programming language for Windows. To save a batch code you must add a .bat extension at the end of it.
Example: mycode.bat
To start off a good batch code you should always write @echo off at the top line of the code. You don't have to but the code will look better if you do. The way you make the program say something is you write
@echo hi and stuff
If you put that there it will disappear instantly because you haven't programed it to stay there. You can make it stay there with pause on the line below it. If you write exit at the end of the code it will exit the program. Here is an overview code of what we learned so far. You could save it as overview.bat or overview.cmd or overview.nt
